True, but on the other hand, many in the road community saw this comming after the womens race was cancelled this year. Its just a bummer because its a really good spectator race that is in a very public location. It was a way for cycling to gain popularity in the US and now it is most likely gone for good. It is indeed

I don't think it is temporary. I think the novelty is gone, as well as the money.

At least we have the Tour of Calif.
