"I don't view these people as conservatives, I actually view them as extreme, and I think their policies have been extreme, and that extends all the way to Iraq, where this president, in my judgment, diverted the real war on terror -- which was Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda -- and almost obsessively moved to deal with Iraq in a way that weakened our nation, overextended our armed forces, cost us $200 billion and created a breach in our oldest alliances."

I'd say that about covers it.

Damn- there's no way in hell I would vote for Kerry - but I"d have to say that the above statement just about covers it nonetheless.

Your avatar is going to give me nightmares.

So you'd rather vote for the person that "in my judgment, diverted the real war on terror -- which was Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda -- and almost obsessively moved to deal with Iraq in a way that weakened our nation, overextended our armed forces, cost us $200 billion and created a breach in our oldest alliances."

just too bad kerry said the war in iraq IS part & parcel to the war on terror.
said it on the day we crossed the 1,000 barrier.
emocratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) said Tuesday, as U.S. military deaths in Iraq (news - web sites) passed 1,000, that it was a "tragic milestone" and the nation should honor its troops' sacrifice by continuing to "fight for what they fought for" and making right decisions in Iraq.

"Today marks a tragic milestone in the war in Iraq; more than 1,000 of America's sons and daughters have now given their lives on behalf of their country, on behalf of freedom, the war on terror,"[Emphasis added] Kerry said as he arrived in Cincinnati on a campaign stop.
NOW how much would you pay?

...not quite $200,000,000,000. In fact, it's pretty far off: factcheck.org

Like I have said before... "if someone gives you a shotgun and a boix with a mystery object in it" and says, "you have to shoot yourself in the face with one of the two" you'd go with the shotgun?
As with all "conventional wisdom" there are limits. I'm no cheerleader for Bush - I have just not seen a compelling arguement for considering Kerry.

Yet you have seen endless harmful, foolish, and downright underhanded things that Bush has done and your going to vote FOR him
