The stickers should adhere better on a smooth surface than a rough one, its still aluminum not something like nylon or ptfe or something where you have real adhesion problems...

Only have pics of me ON the bike...so here ya go. You can even see where my truck tire ate the downtube sticker off a fraction from crushing it.

Nice drive side shot to get that E13 in the pic:thumb::

Pic 1 is it's current rendition. Lighter Sun/Ringle ADD Lite wheelset, stupid wide 31" Boobar, Hayes Stroker Trails and Thomson stem.

It's actually a piece of PVC pipe to make sure the rear dropouts of the frame doesn't get compressed during shipping by the careful delivery people... :)
yes that too.... lol

But wouldn't the Axle protect the frame from Compressing? that is why i said it's t protect the axle.. :-)

no because the swingarm can still move on the axle if compressed.
you need something larger than the axle to prevent that, hence the larger-than-axle pvc pipe

Downhill bike on a students budget:

The people at Norco painted the frame like that... Let's just say, people notice it coming. :D

If everyone does it, what than what the hell.

It's and old photo and I've changed a few parts (tires, bars, pedals) but I'm changing the frame soon so I see no reason to make more photos.

As for newer action photos

Love the first 2 berms on that track. On the first one if you really pin it you can ride it close to flat or even flat.

No, it wouldn't really (only would stop it from compressing if you put pressure only on the axle. The axle isn't screwed to the frame at both ends. Take the pvc pipe out and you can compress the rear triangle by pushing near the axle.

this thread is cool- it's fun to see bikes and not see fighting about what they weigh, or don't weigh
