Nookie Bikes Announces First Bike Line

Rider-run dirt jump company Nookie Bikes have launched their first bike range. There are three models, all carrying the Rogue name and ranging in price from £549.99 to £949.99.

The matte black entry-level Rogue 3 looks a steal at £549.99, with a chromoly frame and Marzocchi Dirt Jumper 3 fork – a rarity at this price. Other parts include Nookie's own Flava wheels, Ping pedals, 10NR 6061 alloy handlebar and Solar stem, plus chromoly cranks, Kenda K-Rad tyres and a rear cable disc brake.

An extra £200 buys you the gloss white Rogue 2 with an upgraded fork (Marzocchi DJ 2) and frame (multi-butted and post-weld heat treated). It also has a 25-tooth alloy chainring instead of the 30T steel ring on the Rogue 3, and an 11T rather than 13T rear sprocket.

The top-end Rogue 1 uses the same frame as the 2 but with a chrome finish. As you'd expect it comes with a host of Nookie parts, including a higher-end Fist stem and updated Playa pedals. The fork is Marzocchi's top-level DJ 1 and the rear disc brake is a hydraulic Avid Elixir unit. RRP is £949.99.

Nookie's product manager Symon Folland says the British company have been working hard to refine their products and expand from their dirt jump roots into the downhill and freeride side of things.
As for the new bikes, he says: “The aim was to build a three-bike range from beginner to pro models with value for money and exceptional quality being the most important aspects.” You can check out all three bikes, along with Nookie's latest components, on their website, Nookie Bikes.
