I´m from Brazil and in April 2005 i will live in Huntsville - ALABAMA.

I would like to know if Alabama have any DH race, and how far is Alabama to the Norba DH races!

Wow, hos is vermont and colorado close to bama? NC is about 8-10 hours. Colorado, closer to 20 and vermont probably about 28-30 hours drive.

There are a good bit of us in Macon and Atlanta, GA that you can hook up with for rides...we're still 3 or so hours away but the closest DHers you'll find.

I just moved away from Johnson City TN. Check out the ETSU campus. They had a nice MTX course but it has probably gone to hell over the last two months. They have an easy pedally DH(hah) course there. They also have a real short DH course that is kinda steep and is actually pretty fun. Behind ETSU is Buffalo MTN. And if you feel like pushing or shuttling you can ride some fundownhill trails. They won't be too hard on a DH bike though. There are 3 decent ski resorts to go to within an hour and fifteen minutes. And I forgot how far windrock is. PM me and I can get you in touch with some people in that area if you want to go riding in Johnson City. There is a rather large group of people there who just love to ride bikes and will ride any form of bike they can. Good luck finding trails in bama.
