Maybe the prolock is the issue? Just running these standard dt alloys with linseed oil.
The supra d is solid. Similar to a 721 I'd say for strength, but maybe slightly more dent resistant.
I'd say the stans are more dent resistant, but probably not as strong- In terms of flat spots. I build my own wheels at home, even have a ts2 stand and all the gear. So its far from a big deal to bring a rim home. A rim is cheap too like you say. You pay near the same for a pair of tyres.
