I'm looking at options for my new rig for the '05 season. I am limited by fundage and what I can get at a good deal (I'm a buyer for a ski/bike shop). The Norco caught my eye when Shaums March was up here at Snowshoe and seems like a very well spec'd machine. However, I have not seen any true life reviews on it, so I am wondering if anyone can chime in and comment with real world experience. Thanks!

Your face.
We will be getting an Aline in very soon. While the parts spec is obviously very different, the suspension action should be similar.

I can say this though.

I spoke to Norco at length at the Canadian dealers bike show, and man, they are really a bright company. The changes they make are smart, and they work very hard to dial the bike in, instead of just building for the sake of selling it. Does that make sense?

They've adjusted a lot of the angles, made it DHX compatible, and really went through and optimized the bike.

i still have one problem with that bike, it still seems too high up, the standover always seems to be much higher than other bikes and the 888 doesn't help it
however this years is supposed to address this problem so we'll see
other than that it is a finely spec'd ride for sure
