Well, they were getting ready to do this 400 mile dog race, last one of the season. Also, some kids were out on the pack ice doing some kind of XC ski race for school. I had to go out on the ice myself and take a few pictures. 45°F and stuff started melting like crazy. It's transitioning to mud season (the other season besides winter) rather fast.
