I finally made it to Northstar this weekend and that place rocks! I don't know why it took me so long to make it up but am sure it will be visited frequently in the future. If you've never been then you really need to check that place out!
Yep, there's no shortage of rocks there. Riding rocky terrain has never been my favorite type of riding but after this weekend I have a new found love for that type of riding.
I really enjoyed all the trails I rode and today we rode Boondocker and that trail was really cool. I want to go back next weekend.

I know exactly what you mean. I went twice this summer and got hooked the first time. TO bad i didn't get to finish my DH bike our last trip up. I'll be going again next summer. The only thing that sucked was the 8 hour drive from LA... But it was all worth it after a whole weekend of great riding!!!Pics of tahoe
i think this was the easy part of "Karpiel"
Northstar is worth 8 hours of driving if you can at least stay for a day or two. It took us 5 hours to get back to the Bay Area on Sunday in bumper to bumper crawling traffic. It was just over 3 hours to get up there.
Hey, you link to pics would not work. Post them again if you have a chance.
