Wow, so I get home from riding today to find a small envelope thats a bit too hefty to be a letter. The return adress is from Dillon, CO. I open it up, and inside is my wallet, which I lost at keystone in July....with all $85 left in it, along with everything else. This is awesome. I'm going to send them a note back with a 20 enclosed for sending it back.

If you pooped on my carpet in my living room, i would mail you the whole poop.
Not that that has anything to do with what we're discussing here...

That's very cool. I keep hoping someone will return my wallet, but after 20 years my hope is fading.

I do wish they'd stop using the credit card though.....

Excellent!

He must be related to the person who found my friends Camelback he left at the bottom of the lift at Snowshoe after a DH race. The only ID on it was his season pass with just a name and pic. The person took the trouble to get his address from guest services and ship it to him at home in Richmond, VA.

what's really odd about this is that most people in Dillon are 'poor' and live there cuz it's awesome. Many work 2-4 jobs to make ends meet.

I'd have atleast taken out what it cost me to mail it to you.

Damn.

When I lost my wallet in Philly passing through I had abot $800 in it.

It didn't get sent back.

I am sure it funded someones Camaro on cinderblocks restoration.

Cool for you.

That's great that they returned it to you with all the money in it, and even better that you're sending them a reward.

It's just a smidgen depressing, though, that it's so out of the ordinary and so unbelievable that someone returned your wallet with all of your money in it.
