Updated Chrome and tried it nao, and now it works. Go figure. Weirdness.

Chrome got progressively wierder for me over some time. Last week I uninstalled it, instructing it to retain nothing, rebooted, and reinstalled it, after which everything works hunky dory. Windows 10 Professional, YMMV.
