I was wondering if local monkies would be interested in swapping AIM screen names so we could easily get rides together.

Another possibility that i investigated last night is IRC, we can easily make a RmVA channel on almost any server, and then organize from there because it is much more centralized than AIM, but still allows the real-time communication AIM provides.

Edit: does/has anyone use(d) IRC?

I'm new, but it was simple to get working, I've found a good small server which allows is to create a channel just for the surrounding areas forum, or others as well.
