It's sad that Conservative Republicans have the complete inability to empathize with anyone unless they themselves are affected.

"Wait, my own family member is gay?"
"Wait, cutting government spending means my OWN pay is going to be cut?"

it's the cynical human condition; i think our forests should go unmolested from human interaction, unless there's a nice shuttle to a sweet flowy trail system.

In general I'd thought that the "limousine liberals" fighting to protect welfare and social services for the poor are usually a bit more altruistic than someone like Mitt Romney fighting to protect people like.... well, Mitt Romney.

the inability to relate to others is a 2-way street. have you quibbled over brokerage fees, or worked your fingers to the bone to find the right person to work their fingers to the bone for you?

And he kept her in the closet for his entire term. It was never brought up, nor is Dickey in any way in support of gay rights. He loves his daughter, I respect that. But he rarely if ever spoke about gay rights in his daughters interest.

Most people do nothing when their family or friends join a cult. Its unfortunate and occasionally there is even mass rape and/or suicide. There are many examples.

Church cults and politicians actively protect child abusers within those organizations.

They are the only real devils/hell.

Other animals don't have the complexity in their simple social structure/culture to develop mass delusions like cults. They do however have the genes for homosexuality within their population.

Similarly drug abuse proclivity is also within the genes.

There is no battle of imaginary beings for your devotion, just genes.
