Brian hooked me up with the fork this week (thanks buuuuuddy!) and of course...my new wheels with the lovely pink CK hubs...I took the bike for a little spin on the street the other day...there is no sound on the face of the planet quite like that of a CK hub...:heart: Anyway, the fork feels good, but I won't truly know the magnitude of my good fortune till I get it out on the trail...but it looks SASSY! AND...what was once considered a not-so-supalight, now be qualifies as a SUPALIGHT...:love: Not a great pic, but I had to get something up quick... :

No way...I love my 636's....I prefer a platform pedal...You don't know how far I've come...I used to ride a burly slalom bike as my xc bike and transferred all the parts to the supalight to make it a 31 pound tank...now that I'm old, I'm trying to get it as light as possible...next'll be some monkeylight carbon bars and a new stem...see...my dh bike has to look girlie and my xc bike needs to look tough.

I have been SICKER than a mother f'n DOG! I got super sick the day I left for Tahoe...didn't get to snowboard I was so sick, so I just went into the sportsbook and partied and placed some bets on the ponies, went to the Femmes show...then I came home and thought I was dying...and ended up in urgent care on an iv, chest xrays, etc. they nearly killed me with too much insulin...then it turned into a BAD sinus infection...I was out of work for SEVEN days...still feelin a little under the weather, but I yam alive...

Yeah I know...it was a screamin deal on a really nice fr wheelset with the brakes and unless I feel like spending unnecessary money, I don't wanna change em till I need too...600 for a fork is enough for the moment...the wheels were pretty much free between gifts, sale of old wheels, etc. I do want a new stem and bars, so that'll be next up on the list...

Why thank you...yeah it was a FUN show...and me and my friend Jess were the most popular girls there with all the jello shots we brought!

In order to make up for not getting to ride, I'm going up next weekend and we're seeing George Clinton and P Funk! JJJYYYEEEAHHHH!

Oh...and this is funny...the annual Old Skool Funk Fest is coming...MC Hammer, Ohio Players, Cameo and I forget who else...maybe the Gap Band...but damn that crowd is always freakin hysterical...

Yuck...no...I think he's still pretty hot, but I would not touch him by way of hooking up for NUTHIN! I am going to see em again in Vegas in October! Yayyyy! When is your show?

And yeah...this was the nastiest sick I've ever had...I was literally pretty much couch riden for about 7 or 8 days...here is a picture of Zakk taking a break from taking care of me...she uses my leg as a pillow...isn't she CUTE!

Thanks...yeah...he's ok...he had to dremmel the caliper so it would work with the fork and wheels...I need to be nice to him till I get some carbon monkeylites and a stem...then I can start pickin on him again.

About those pedals. If you really like the platform style, you should check out the Mallet M's. They have the big platform but use a magnesium pedal body and they are super light. I have ridden with both on my trail bike, and the Mallets feel like using a XC pedal weight wise. Anyway, excuse the geek speak.
