140 people a day! I would think that police in NYC would have more important things to fight than potheads. Maybe they have pot patrols. yikes

For amounts of less than 3/4 of an ounce the penalty is a civil citation and a fine. In other words a revenue generator.

NYC had more simple possession arrests in 2010 than from 1978 to 1996 combined. come on people... You act like this is how its supposed to be and I think its insane and a sign of desperation.
