has anyone else here been tracking the various spying, suspending of civil liberties, and other thuggish tactics used by nypd blue?
heard on that station which shall not be named - least i be confused w/ a liberal - about what appears to be desperate measures used by the cops in order to....uhhhh.....

on balance, people acting like idiots in large numbers should be tazed w/o mercy (mardi gras or nba all star game or assembling to protest the crusades), but it seems there are more than just a few isolated incidents of abuse of power in nyc alone, especially this incident from late last year.
