sorry you could not get your ass plowed....First plowable event of the season my ass...
considering this may happen again someday, ditch the carpet for flooring that doesn't turn into a bacteria petri dish?I think I know the answer but is it possible to pull back carpet from the wall line tacks and actually ever get it back on again?
I've never installed carpet so don't know the nuances of the stretch
Yeah that's the long term goal but right now I just need to reach a state of 'dry'considering this may happen again someday, ditch the carpet for flooring that doesn't turn into a bacteria petri dish?
Yeah that's the long term goal but right now I just need to reach a state of 'dry'
This is no driving right now
If the end goal is no carpet, why not lift it up, remove the tacks and set it back down when done?Yeah that's the long term goal but right now I just need to reach a state of 'dry'
This is no driving right now
so then stretching it back, at least without those knee-kicker carpet tools, might be difficult/impossible.Yeah that's the long term goal but right now I just need to reach a state of 'dry'

this.If the end goal is no carpet, why not lift it up, remove the tacks and set it back down when done?
probably what I'm going to end up doing but involves the summer commitment of finally installing flooring. If the end goal is no carpet, why not lift it up, remove the tacks and set it back down when done?
Yes, but trying to get it back on tight and without wrinkles sucks ass. Not impossible though.I think I know the answer but is it possible to pull back carpet from the wall line tacks and actually ever get it back on again?

What's under the carpet? Plywood flooring?I'm attached to neither. I just want all the bedroom furniture out of our fucking hallway
That's some nice looking dry carpet you got there.Morning Monkeys.
So some observations between the whole big company vs small company.
Big company: 2 flavors of pump coffee, ice dispenser multiple bathrooms.
Small company: shitty single serve coffee pot that leaks like crazy, two ice cube trays in the freezer, communal bathroom down the hall.
Also, I don't have my fob yet, so this is my key. I don't carry it with me, I stash it inside by the door.
