We thought the cat I caught was my neighbors cat. I sent him a picture and he said yes. We released it but it turns out it is definitly not his cat. Its too young, not fixed, way skinnier, has different markings. We've been losing a chicken every other night and its been the littlest bird every time. Lets see if he comes back tonight and falls for another trap...

Interesting discovery while changing the oil this evening. Her chain dropped at one point today, so I wanted to check the tension and sprocket after I changed the oil. Turns out, the gearing they put on was for a 2-stroke (what they mostly run). Quick calculation and... 2.61 ratio.
Her class is supposed to be 3.0 or 3.14, track dependant. She's been running a 2.61 gear ratio on a 3.14 track for the last few sessions out. She's running faster times than before with a gear ratio that has brutally slower acceleration on a track that is all about acceleration. Called the shop a little bit ago and he's going to get the right ratio gearing to me by Tuesday so that I can install it before I drop the kart to be transported.
