Fvcker drops to his knees in part two once the prayer bells sound, and o'reilly starts screaming "I don't know what the fvck that means!!!".

That's what "lively" is.

I haven't watched it, but I'm assuming this is the one where he admits the surge worked?

Good on Obama to walk into the Lion's den... we'll see if McCain hit's Daily Show or Colbert. Will watch this later....

i think the last segment ends w/ a peace offering of corned beef from o'reilly, to which obama exclaims "i don't eat no filthy swine, punk"

then they dance a stiffarmed jig as they roll the credits.

Watched both. Bill was respectfully more reserved than usual, but still a jackass. I thought Obama demonstrated a pretty solid knowledge on the subjects hit, and maintained poise considering the insults thrown "robin hood obama" "socialist" etc.

Can't believe o'reilly knows no one despicable. You'd think he'd have met roger ailes by now.
he's regularly featured as olbermann's worst person in the world, so yeah, it's lonely at the bottom

Ran accross this, regarding Obama and socialism.

The National Journal is an independent service which keeps track of votes and political activities in Washington, DC. Its financial success relies on its impartial gathering of statistics and information.

As part of its service, each year it compiles a list of key role call votes from the Senate and the House, eliminating those votes which do not reflect a general ideology as it relates to economics, foreign policy, or social issues, and those votes which pertain only to a specific region.

[ A principal-components statistical analysis is used to to ferret out these votes which are statistically unrelated to the three subject areas. Also, each related vote is weighted to the degree to which it is correlated to other votes in the same issue area, i.e., to the degree to which it is a statistically valid test of economic, foreign policy, or social ideology. In this way, the data which is most related is given the most importance.]

The nonpartisan data-analysis firm, Polidata, collects the info on how the member voted. The lists of votes is then sent to the Brookings Institution, Information Technology Services Division, for data processing and the statistical analysis. ( Note: In issues analysis Brookings also claims to be impartial, but it is frequently left-leaning.)

The results for 2007 were released in March of 2008. Not unexpectedly, near the top of the list of composite liberal scores, at number four, is the avowed socialist from Vermont, Bernie Sanders. There are three other Senators, however, who are more socialist than the only man with the integrity to take the name. In the number three spot is one of the "old white men" of the Senate, first elected when his running mate was eleven years old, Joseph Biden. Sheldon Whitehouse of RI, stands with a score nearly identical to Biden's. But in the number one spot, nearly two points higher, is the most socialist man in the Senate, Barack Obama.

Every voter in the presidential election has the right to know the ideology of the man or woman for whom he is voting.

Labels that do not clearly indicate this ideology openly and honestly can lead one to ask whether the candidate has the strength of character to come before us undisguised, and the integrity that the citizens deserve.

Insults or Reality. I tend to think the later. Obamas teen mentor ( in his own words ) was Frank Marshall Davis - True Red Communist (Source)

Sounds like someone you can get behind

Not trying to rain on your parade but as far as states I have lived I have had to use free health care a few times so I can attest to the fact that is exists. I was making like 16k a year at the time, and never had to pay anyone anything for more than one visit, with more than one doctor. There is stuff you have to fill out, work to do, but it is real.
I am late to the conversation but has anyone mentioned medicare fail. I mean that is government health care, what about Vets hospitals, same. Both FAIL!

Summary: Media Matters for America has identified numerous media outlets or figures who reported that the National Journal has rated Sen. Barack Obama "the most liberal senator in 2007," but did not report that the same National Journal feature stated that Sen. John McCain "did not vote frequently enough in 2007 to draw a composite score. He missed more than half of the votes in both the economic and foreign-policy categories."
so McCain didn't even vote enough times to get a rating, but for some reason this is better? yes, I *want* the guy who missed more than half of the economic and foreign policy votes... :bonk:

Sounds like you have no idea what socialism is or how it works! But that is the case with 99% of Americans, well so it seems. They are all for Free Anything - but they never count the costs. Its sad really.

If Government wants to open a million places where I can go get free health care right I am for that.
OR
If it wants to mandate where I go and the rules I play by and take a ton of money from the free market to pay for it - I am not for that.

The latter is where we are heading and if you can't tell the difference please do not participate int he conversation because you will only get further confused.

So what does that have to do with Obama being a Socialist Liberal Communist Lover?
Answer - Nothing.
Allow me to translate for you: "Hey don't read that - Look at McCain , yea yea look at him. Don't look at the fact Obama is a Socialst. That doesn't matter. REMEMBER BUSH - AHHHH BUSH! YEA BUSH HE IS BAD McCainis Bush and Bush is bad!."

...the most socialist...
The very fact that this ("Socialist") is their linear axis of evaluation invalidates the entire study as both partisan and simplified to the point of uselessness. The only way it could claim bi-partisanship is if the opposite end of the axis was "Fascist" which I don't believe it is. Even then it would be such a gross oversimplification as to, again, be useless.

It is generally accepted that even the most basic political analysis requires orthogonal axes of Social vs. Fiscal policy (from which the Socialist to Fascist spectrum would cover two quadrants [diagonally] but ignore another two).

That you can't distinguish the logical fallacy inherent in the study is, to use your favorite word, FAIL.

Socialist Liberal Communist
Are you sure you know what these words mean?

It's like vibiker with sideburns up in this rig.
