Surprisingly the zoo is an excellent place for pictures. The have the animals, lots for flowers, a kids playhouse, and lots of people walking around.

P.S. He is a pretty kitty.

i need to drag my gear out to the zoo at some point. our local zoo is crap, but it was a nice day friday and my wife went w/ our youngest, and she said all the big animals were out in the open and easy to see.

ocelots are cool cats. you should be able to get a lot of cool shots @ the SD zoo. great zoo.
