Love my old Yeti lock-ons grips, but they just don't hold up. So I researched and pulled the trigger on some Oury's. Out of the box the things looked massive, but we'll see. Logged some trail time this morning and they're the bomb... extra cush, relaxed grip; work great even for me with smallish hands.

My gripe: what's with the new style end plugs? Installed one side and I really welcomed having a bit extra there; this is cool, something to rest the outside palm against. When I installed the left, the nut pulled straight through the plastic sleeve without ever cinching up. Grrrr. El Cheapo. Now, I'm not really going to sweat it over $20, but couldn't we do a better job than that? Throw the old plugs in & carry on.

Think I'll shoot a note to ODI.. see if cs will offer a spare to try again.

I love the Oury lock-ons too! I mess with my bike alot, changing brakes and stuff, and lock-ons make life a lot easier for that.

The Rogues are my favorite in both twist and trigger length. Best diameter for me, and the pattern is, well. . .grippy, without being able to feel any raised edges as with the Yeti version. It's also much longer life than the Yeti or Ruffian models, I have several years on one set, I just recently rotated them as the underside still has like new pads.

I don't like the Yeti and Intense models as much because you can distinctly feel the logo under your hand. Although I love the half-flange on the Intense.

I'm actually going to pick up a set of the new style plugs. The old version that doesn't cover the clamps means lots of burrs in the metal. I have left some major scratches on my car's paint and one window as a result. Oops.
