Dude, do you have that every day?

I had a coffee, a bagel, and a protein shake.

Mine is similar to Caboverpete's breakfast:

Multigrain oatmeal mix, spoon-o-brown sugar, handful of walnuts and a handful of dried fruit mix (cherries, cranberries, strawberries, and blueberries) with skim milk, plus a cup of coffee.

Nothing as of yet.

Who here is in the 7 percent?
double soy latte while the oats are cooking. That 'breakfast SOS' looks mighty tasty though. That's how I got in trouble on the cholesterol.

I have a beer or glass of wine with lunch during the workday sometimes.

Yeah both my parents have high cholesterol. I haven't had mine tested but I try to limit the sat fat and cholesterol as much as possible anyway just to be on the safe side.

That said, that double egg, sausage, cheese, hotsauce concoction has my mouth watering more than Pavlov's dog.

(bump for recent blood work)

I got the results from my physical. Dang it. Despite all my healthy oatmeal eating, my good / bad cholesterol levels are all out of whack. My overall levels are just border line at 203 but my LDL and HDL are 159 and 44 respectively. They should be something like 140 / 60.

Maybe I shouldn't have eaten that plate of re-fried beans the night before I had my blood work done?

And furthermore, can you believe bacon is not on the low fat / low cholesterol diet? Sacralidge!
