The problem isn't whether he's a natural born citizen, the problem is that "natural born citizen" has never been legally defined, whether by legislation or or judicial verdict.
If the birthers want to have "natural born citizen" legally defined as "a person born to a mother and father, both of whom are legal US Citizens, and born on American Soil", I would be fine with that. Wanna know why? It would disqualify John McCain as a presidential candidate as well!

I posted in the other thread that US Military bases are not considered part of US territory if they are in other countries. So if you are born there, one of your parents must be a US citizen in order for you to gain US citizenship by birth.
Far more constructive debate would be why you need such a stupid f*cking rule anyway.
