MizN8 says putting up and decorating the tree is a pain in the azz, so she wanted to have time to enjoy it... besides we will be gone to Ft Smith, AR later this week.

It's an EMU. And I've hated christmas for a long while now. The whole holiday thing is just....blah.

The Santa Hat Emu is just for laughs. It looks ridiculous.

I love Christmas trees. This year we are snowshoeing out into the forest to cut one down and bring home. Should be great fun!

dude...do you live in a hotel lobby? that's a super vaulted ceiling.

def much more class than i have. what's it like to have a clean living room where kids don't pull your tree down within 5 minutes of setting it up.

we're hoping our tree decorations will match the crayon colorings in the wall :D

    Nope... it's a flat 10'4" ceiling.

The kids are both 12 so they know better than to junk up the living room.
