You start feeling old when you stop feeling like you can stay up all night drinking, get up the next morning, go to work, and do it all over again for a week.

Meh....40 is just a state of mind. My next door neighbor (and 24-hour teammate) turned 40 in Aug. and is training to do his first Ironman next summer in Lake Placid, NY. ( www.ironmanusa.com ).
Of course it's easy for me to say as I sit here on my 33 year old a$$.

Did fret it man, I turned forty back in October, did the total life assesment thing.

Basically I can't change my past but made some changes for the future, I made two lists of goals, the first was life choices basically 5 things I can do to be a better person. I stuck it on the fridge as a daily reminder and I feel it works. the other list was of thing I want to do before I die I much longer list, so far the first to things that have come since that list is I started taking guitar lessons, and I have improved my eating habits ( so hopefully I can live long enough to complete this list)
