How do you set default programs? Say I wanted to set Mozilla as my default program to open links from emails etc instead of safari?

I guess it kinda is, if you think about it. Kind of like you set some of the internet preferances through Internet Explorer

yeah, it's a stupid decision on apple's part. it's especially stupid since it was in the "right" place (internet pref pane in system prefs) until 10.4 Tiger.

You can GET to those via IE, or via control panel.

Actually I've got 10.3 and it's not in the system prefs either; only in Safari. I think it's dumb too, but at least it's there. Maybe it switched when I upgraded Safari.

it switched in the 10.2-10.3 jump. The first version of safari for jaguar didn't have it cuz it was in system preferences.
