Stupid. So, I had my cycling shoes shipped back to performance because they didn't fit right. I call to check on them on Jan. 29, they said they were shipped that day via snail mail. So it's been two weeks now. I called the performance customer service girls(always sweet and southern soundin), and try to figure out wtf happened. Come to find out the package was in my home town on the first, went back to dallas, then to my home town, then to lorena texas(about an hour and a half away). Now its "back in the post office in my hometown". Never once has a delivery attempt been made. I hate the post office, but performance customer service girls are awesome!

Isnt it treason to speak against the USPS?
Probably, which means I'm a gonner. The NSA is reading this as we speak (type). They'll be at my door in hours, and I'll be dragged off to some Orwellian nightmare, where I'll be tortured, and eventually killed. It was nice e-knowing you all.

I didn't know USPS did package tracking?

Isnt it treason to speak against the USPS?
no no, it's okay, Lance retired and the team dissolved.

I sent my sister a road bike just last week using USPS. To ship from So Cal to Washington, the guy told me it would take approximately one week. I dropped it off on a Saturday and it was delivered that following Friday. Reflux is being a happy customer.

I have no idea where I am
The last time I used the USPS to ship a package, the clerk read the address, looked at me like I had two heads, turned to her coworker and said,"Do we use the same code for New Mexico as Mexico?"
To which he replied,"New Mexico is in the United States."

The civil service exam can't be much of a challenge.

Sometimes that local postal carrier gets tired and quits for the day before delivering to our house.

USPS sucks.

I've had more problems with UPS (2-3 lifetime) than USPS(0). I almost always ship priority mail though...

yeah, same here.....ive had multiple troubles with ups....but usps (priority) has never let me down (yet).......priority usps usually gets things where they're going in less than three days for me......although its not particularly cheap.....

As the USPS has no answers, I must applaud performance for their customer service! They're overnighting a new pair of shoes to me! :)

I have never had any problems with USPS Proirity Domestic and International. The only time I ever had a problem was when I entered the weight of a package too low. USPS will even send you free boxes for free.

Front Range, dude...
Postal Service defies physics, it sucks AND blows. I shipped a box home from overseas last fall, and it has disappeared. Dumbazz me didnt insure it, but having faith in the system I have dutifully tried to track it down. All I get is directions to write a letter to St Paul, some island of lost mail, and hope for a Xmas miracle. They lost my box, how can I depend on them to deliver a simple farcking letter? The onl thing I want out of the box is my stupid Suunto Vector, they can have the Team Canada jersey and the bootleg porn.
Next time I insure the box for 5x what its worth, and report it undeliverd. Farging iceholes! :bonk::rant::banghead:
