The bill's not going anywhere:

Huffpo said:
Many Democrats, along with other opponents, have vowed to lead a ballot-repeal effort if the measure passes. Backers of a ballot challenge have 90 days after Kasich signs the bill to gather 231,148 valid signatures from at least half Ohio's 88 counties to get it on the ballot.
What's more is that if the Dems get the 231,148 signatures needed (not really that hard, one guy running a "recall Scott Walker" website already has the contact info for 175,000 WI residents ready for when he's eligible to be recalled, and OH has 2x the number of residents as WI), the bill is halted until the people get to vote on it, which isn't going to be until Nov 2012 at the earliest. That's also GREAT news for the Democrats, because it means that all of the labor unions are going to be fired up to vote in the 2012 election, and OH is a swing state for Obama...

It boggles the mind that the usually brilliant(ly evil) right wing think tank machine is starting off with relatively progressive states both with very strong labor movements. Why not go after the South and Southwest, where it's become obvious the semi-literate, ideologically-retarded populace can be frothed into voting against their own self-interest repeatedly, incessantly, nay pathologically?

I've said it before, the party of Karl Rove has become the party of Christine O'Donnell.
