Hey, I heard good things about the DJ 3, and they're super cheap, so I decided to pick one up, seems like a great fork so far, but the stock oil (7.5) seemed heavy, and I wanted to replace it with 5wt. The marzocchi site doesnt have the oil heights for the 2003's yet. So I drained the oil from both legs and measured about 105-110mm of oil in each leg, which seemed like a hell of alot. So I replaced the oil with a 5wt, and I put 60mm in each leg, it was rebounding SUPER fast, so I added 30mm more to each leg, and it still feels like its rebounding fast, and The reason I changed the oil to lighter weight was to make the fork softer, for my light weight, but it doesnt feel like its gotten any softer. Whats the Ideal oil height?
Thanks

As a general rule of thumb, 45-55 millimeters from the top of the leg compressed.
The oil must be high enough to flow through the valves...

I agree with Mecannoman. That's cool that you got a fork... I am happy for you.
