Nah... they are just afraid of a lawsuit from the goldmans.
Maybe so, but if they were confident they'd make more money than the legal battles would incur....
Therefore speculation was, this was going to be a loser. So good on the consumer for saying no.

I was really wondering if it would sell, glad to know I won't find out.
However, I'm sure it is heading to the internet VERY soon.
But OJ was gonna use the proceeds from this book to look for the real killers. Poor fellow.
I know....what's he supposed to do now? Manhunts don't fund themselves.... maybe a telethon is in order

Funny because I figured the book actually announced who the killer was.
Yeah, I'm really disappointed. We were finally going to find out the truth, and the book proceeds were going to help pay off the judgement owed to the Goldman family.
