:rant:Tried to support our Prez as long as I can. Now, WTF??

We moved into Iraq to topple a dictator who "held" WMDs; put people under house arrest; ran the government AND the military; had rebel lawlessness in the North of his country and was supposedly conspiring with terrorist by giving them safe haven.

But we support and pump billions in to support Mushareff??

Ummmm...

Then today there was this...don't we have better use of government??

You support him thru all the other BS that's gone on since 2001 but now you're mad because he wants to help fatass, freedom-lovin' Americans jetset around the country to eat some dirty yard bird with their obese 12 year olds?

Towing the party line.
As retarded as he is, these delays are huge issues for Americans in general. It also hurts the airlines, which the govt then has to friggin' bail out.

Besides, he wasn't doing anything else anyways.

I guess part of the problem is the radar technology we use for comercial aircraft is from the 60's. The flying lanes get clogged because the radar can't handle the traffic. To bad we are a 3rd world country and can't afford the newer technology.

btw I really hate delays at airports around holiday time. If you like to spend time with bunch of fat, smelly travelers who haven't seen their toes in a few years yet insist on drink "sport water" then be my guest.

Actually the problem is Not our radar systems , those are good , more 1980's then the 60's . the bigger problem is and thisis world wide not just the US , But in the us is where most of the air trtaffic is. and that is that Bassically all air traffic decisions are still made by Human, there is a Distrust to allow computers to route the planes.

How did you make it this long? That in itself is amazing.

I agree that airline delays suck, but is this seriously a priority? I would think the housing market/credit debit/economy are a little more important.

Guess that's why I'm not president.

Perhaps Douglas Adam's was not so far from the reality with his character Zaphod Beeblebrox as the Galactic president.
He was the President of the Galaxy (a role that involves no power whatsoever, and merely requires the incumbent to attract attention so no one wonders who's really in charge, which is a role Bush is perfectly suited for). :lighten:
