That compression at the bottom of Altar Boy ate a more than a few over those three years.
It and the rock section below (Bowling Alley) are still there but have to be poached. You'd hardly recognize them: all the dirt in the vid is scoured away, so the only thing left is a sea of rocks. Gnarly.
Schweitzer just built a new Pro/Cat1 course this year and it's every bit as raw and rough as the old one.
Good stuff! The Mt Snow footage is from 03 as I am one of the tools crashing in the Yard sale.
The "altor boy" section at Schweitzer looks so gnarly. The Yard sale would break some bones and produce some stitches but the "altar boy" looks like it had the ability to kill!
Mt. Snow...the only course where I ever strapped on a pair of Michelin 2.8's and still felt under-equipped. Schweitzer still looks like there is not enough travel on a DH bike to smooth it.
