Would I be crazy for wanting a older fork for my old Metalhead or EWR?

    Like the 98-01 Marzocchi Z1's.

'99 Z1 is an awesome fork. WAY flexy compared to anything out these days though. Not so bad w/ an aftermarket brake arch. (if you can find one)

Old forks look good but new forks ride so much better and to me its about the ride. Lighter, stiffer, more adjustable the list goes on.

Depends if you want looks or performance. I'm going to guess you'll get the old fork. Did they ever make one you could let rust?

I've got an old Z1. It's got a bolt on arch so it must be pre '01 (right?)

Anyways, it rides great but I don't really have a bike for it. Make me an offer. (It's red btw)
