Here's the schedule we've seen for cycling. All times are US Central Time, adjust accordingly... Check your local listings, of course.

---Men's road race: Saturday, Aug. 14, NBC, 8 p.m.
to midnight ET.

---Women's road race (live): Sunday, Aug. 15, USA,
8-11:30 a.m. ET.

---Men's time trial: Wednesday, Aug. 18, NBC,
12:30-4 p.m. ET.

---Women's time trial: Wednesday, Aug. 18, NBC,
8 p.m. to midnight ET.

---Track cycling, Aug. 20-25, all over the board.

---Women's mountain biking: Friday, Aug. 27, NBC,
12:30-2 a.m. ET.

---Men's mountain biking: Saturday, Aug. 28, NBC,
12:30-2 a.m. ET.

has there been any discussion in recent years of the addition of downhill as an Olympic sport? I remember when XC was added and they reckoned DH would be in in 4-12 years, which we must be getting on for now... since I've heard nothing I assume it's still hovering on a distant horizon?
