if you are using platforms i don't know what the problem is. i'm 240 and i have had not problem bending any pedal. as for known good pedals anything wellgo. btw supergo weless pedals are wellgo's.

if you have clipless i don't know. never had a problem with any clipless pedals

I have destroyed just about every pedal I use. The longest lasting was 3 months and it was a set of wellgo's I can't find anymore.

The other set that has treated me well was the azonic ceramic ones...

Oh and I weight 250 to 270 at any given time :)

Could it be that your cranks are bent? I've had similar experiences. I'm 220+. Sounds like you have flats? I've had a p[air of Shimano DX's that have held up well. My Primo's are not bent, but the bearings are shot and they don't stick well in the rain.
For clipless, I go as cheap as possible. Like Shimano 515's or the plastic caged DH pedals. Ever since the 737's and original red DH's went the way of the dinosaur, I have been unable to find a pair that lasts.

I like the profile pedals alot. Im too cheap to buy my own though ;)

Pedals dont always bend cause of weight. I'm 185 with my suit and helmet on. Ask anyone i ride with, I rape pedals. Off rocks. funning landings. You name it. Thats why I like the Shimano way of clippless the best. You can smash every part off the platform and the cleat will still work!
