So, My wife and I missed the Kingdom Monkeyfest since it was our 10th Anniversary. Sounds like you all had a blast up here in VT! Hope to see you next time you are up!

Anyway, does anyone know what the traditional gift is for the 10th? Aluminum!!!!!! Here is what my honey gave me! She's the best!

 You're wife is AWESOME!!! Glad to hear you had such a great 10th anniversary. So, what did you buy for her
I skipped a few years and got her a diamond ring and an amber pendant. She too was happy!

JT was it a frame only or a complete bike??? Are those shimano pedals on there??
Mark - She got me the frame only. I swapped most of teh gear over from the Instigator. I had just switched to Pythin Tubeless tires a few days before. All built up it weighs in at 30.0 pounds. A full 2.4 pounds lighter then the Instigator!

I rode it twice over the weekend in the Adirondacks. It is super stable and stiff, the travel feels endless, yet the bike climbs like a demon! Un-freaking-believable! Compared to the bullit and Superlight (the only FS bikes I have much experience with) this thing is in a whole different league! The ride is plush and the vanilla RLC really compliments the rear travel.

Nice :thumb: Sq-Earl will be SO proud! The only Shimano park on his is his front der. and he's looking for a reason to replace it!
Isn't the fact that Sram makes the X-Gen reason enough? Mine works just fine!

LOL!!! I'll have to tell him that when he gets home. :D It's the only part I need to replace on the Jekyll to make it shimano free as well AND our anniversary is August 1st! :sneaky:
