many years ago Platty had a race the very first weekend of november. it snowed. so there was like 5 or 6 inches of snow over 4 inches of wet leaves over a couple inches of mud.

I had that happen in my yard a few years ago. You can't blow snow covered leaves with a snow blower. Shoveling them == a literal kill list
