I've used the Cane Creek DoubleX and FSA Orbit Xtreme Pro. I think the overall quality of the FSA is much better-plus it has a 10 year warranty. Until King makes a 1.5 headset, I would go with the FSA.

I haven't had a problem with my cane creek for over a year, except for the stupid plastic spacers. I haven't looked at a FSA next to a Cane Creek so the FSA may be a little nicer. Cane Creek was the first to have a headset available and I didn't want to deal with reducers and I didn't want to wait so I bought the Cane Creek which has turned out to be okay, I had an s-2 headset for about a year too without any problems.

I see no reason why someone would spend so much money on a Chris King headset when you can get a FSA Pig for 30 bucks (CDN) and will last for a few years and prevent ovalizing, and when or IF it dies, you can just get another Pig for 30. Just get the FSA and keep it, I'm sure it'll keep your bike turning smoothly for years to come
