My favorite was the $10 million John Murtha Center for Political Studies in PA.

I need an earmark for the X3pilot School of Bartending and Pole Dancing Evaluating.

It's OK to put in earmarks on a bill you plan to vote against. You could put anything in there you want, as long as you vote no.

Now if everyone else votes yes, then you did your job to vote no, but you will take the money since it's already accounted for.

I'd love to see a scenario where if you vote against the bill, your earmarks are taken out. My guess is you'd see a lot more bipartisan support for spending bills.
