took apart the rear hub to overhaul it...got ahead of myself, I guess. Now that I've got it all dissassembled and all the bearings out, it seems I won't be able to clean it all very well without removing the freewheel....is this a correct assumption? From the left side, bearing removal and access is cake...from the drivetrain side, it seems buried down in there. Don't have a chain whip or a lockring remover, so's I gotta go shopping tomorrow...any comments would be appreciated.

Afraid you have to remove the cassette to get at the bits properly. But on the bright side, you get to buy some tools and learn how to use them!
