Any thoughts on Open Office Suite?

Also, any good email program alternatives to Outlook?

Open Office is good.

Large PowerPoints take FOREVER to import into OO.

i haven't used office in about.....ever. seriously.
started with staroffice back in the 90's, migrated to openoffice when they changed the name. sometimes use abiword...
openoffice is generally the exact same as office without all the bull**** (i.e. hidden games, other easter eggs etc) and annoyances. best of all it's free, sucka
