Hey monkeys, so I have a friend moving to Portland OR. (she's sexy) Anyway, I was wondering about the DH scene around the area. (I might not be too far behind) Boulder, CO. is pricy, and I need a house so I'm just checking on the riding. What chairlifts are nearby? And dirt-jumps, gotta have some jumps! Just thought I'd ask.....L8tr

It's 1-1/2 hours from my downtown apartment.
Post Canyon is the other direction in Hood River.
Meldrum Bar, in Oregon City has the best mtb friendly dirt jumps.
Dirty Booger is a sweet dirt jump park across the river in Washington.
Ski Bowl, on Mt Hood has lift access and DH races.

We're always looking for people to come ride with us.
Last weekend we filled up the huge Mountain Cycle team van with riders and bikes for trips to Falls City Saturday, and Dirty Booger Sunday.

I ride nearly every day.

Ah yes, the MC boyz...forgot they moved out there. She's thinking a couple months, how late of a season do you have? I'll be leaving Telluride for Whistler for 14 days.....ahhhhh Crankworx.......... maybe I can swing low on the way home?
