Using a racist logical fallacy as a shock tactic to win an argument disgusts me.

I'm seriously considering starting to remove posting rights in this forum for the hit-and-run posters who do nothing but post links with no comment or description with the intent of stirring up crap.
I'm holding out on it only because I'm hoping that the dumbass postings will fall off significantly after the election is over. This forum has been a really quality forum for years, it just disturbs me that the quality of the content has dropped so drastically.
edit: oh, and feel free to claim that I'm doing it because I just disagree with your stance or am trying to make up for some kind of childhood power issues. It's what about 80% of the oppressed scream about any one of the mods here.

Past 6-8 months nonwithstanding, are you going to deny that there's been a huge amount of intellectual, reasoned, articulate and researched discussion that's gone on in this forum? Even when I disagree with a lot of the positions, there are still many people who have at least taken the time to form an educated opinion.
I know the Christian bashing frustrates you but there's actually a whole lot of content in here. In fact, when Andyman was posting, there was a huge amount of the aforementioned reasoned Christian discussion as well.
I was surprised at the level of reasoned discussion; the election has poisoned the forum somewhat. So has N8's re-emergence as troll-o-the-day.

while i'm in your camp, i think the fact that clinics are disproportionately in urban areas needs to also be compared to other things which are also disproportionately in urban areas: fast food, pawn shops, liquor stores, & hair/nail salons. compare that to tractor supply, feed stores, meth labs, and churches in the boonies. how well do you think an abortion clinic would do in a rural area? aside from the occasional cider house client, business would be thin.
while i think that "values" pushes a great deal of agendas, money is more influential in our society.

Specious. Planned parenthood provides a wide range of useful services, which happens to include abortion. Provide some facts, if you have them, pertaining to abortion, not family planning in general.
I think there is a $100 fact bounty out already. Seems "facts" are much like Sasquatch, we KNOW they exist, we just can't find them right now.
