Head of slain U.S. hostage found in Saudi raid
Johnson was beheaded in June; 2 militants said killed in gunfight

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - The head of slain American hostage Paul M. Johnson Jr., who was kidnapped and beheaded by militants in Saudi Arabia last month, was found by Saudi security forces during a raid on a militant hideout that left two militants dead, the Interior Ministry said Wednesday.

Since 'W' is so against terrorism, when are we going to start attacking Saudi Arabia? I think the links to terrorism have long ago been established...

huh? Just cuz the guy was found dead in their country doesn't equate to the gov't. having killed him.

I dunno, Bush is trying to pin terrorism ties on Iran because some of the 9/11 guys travelled though there on their way to the US.

This was the guy killed in Iraq by 'insurgents'... and now his head is in Saudi Arabia?

i don't see how this ties Saudi to terrorism. That doesn't mean they aren't, but the killing has NO link to the gov't.

We all know that 'strategic importance' is LibSpeak for 'oil and $'s.'

Saudi has far more oil and wealth than Iraq, so based on your logic... when do the bombs start?

Or perhaps there is something else more important than oil that's got our attention in the region...

Or perhaps 'strategic importance' means 'strategic importance'?

I'm surprised at you N8. I know you read my posts, but try comprehending and remembering. When have I ever even hinted that invading Iraq was for oil or corporate profits?

Strategic importance relates directly to how friendly a regime is added to it's impact on Western economic progress. Saudi is US-friendly so although strategically important it is effectively ours already. Should an anti-US regime come to power things will quickly change.

If you mean terrorism or WMD by your last statement then you are easily misled.

Maybe it's becasue of the $1.8 billion the Saudi royal family have given to the Bushes that we don't invade.

Maybe.
