Anybody ever shipped a bike overseas? Any estimate on cost?

It really depends on where you are shipping to and what courier you are using.

If it's coming from france then I really don't have any idea. I've shipped a DH bike to Hong Kong before and it was between $150-$200 from what I recall, it was a few years ago, but I got a really good discount from my bike shop who happend to also be a fedex shipping agent.

You might check to see if fedex or ups has an international shipping calculator on their webpages.

I once had to ship a bike to Juneau, Alaska (which is like overseas, since you can't use ground) it was a full sussy, and to keep cost down we took apart the frame and made to smaller boxes as opposed to one big box, this saved about $80 in shipping back then....

I imagine the same thing would work now....or you could just suck up the $80 to have it thrown on the plane so you know where it is when you land....(most of the time....)
