I know this might sound crazy, but what about the fact Hillary is a chick, and there is a percentage of the population that just won't have a chick in charge. No matter how orange the other one is.

It was about trust issues with Hillary not gender.

Not according to the folks on the bus. Not sure how well a sample of 'Murica my bus commute is, but it is full of small town folk that are forced to go into the city for work. None of them voted for Hillary and only part of that was out of distrust, some of it was purely gender based. I have to think there is a percentage of the voting public they represent.

Some of them are women, albeit conservatives, who won't vote for a woman president. A lot of the Bible thumpers don't believe that they are equal to men in the first place because they believe that women were made from Adam's rib. Usually they are not very vocal about it, but occasionally I'll end up in a conversation with one.

Ann Coulter doesn't think women should even be allowed to vote and she's hardly a jesus-freak.

I'd thought that too, but I'm trying to be kinder and gentler with my wording so as not to trigger N8. :D

"Normalizing" Trump? If this/he becomes the new normal, we are truly fucked. He will be the downfall of our nation if not controlled somehow.

What is the over/under on how long it takes for him to be impeached??

Emolument violation is impeachable from day 1. Republican Congress is a sack of spineless shit so they won't do it.

    Oh, I disagree. :tinfoil: warning:

I think a GOP congress would love to impeach Trump because:
Think about it. Trump has made a wide variety of establishment GOP figures his bitch and/or laughing stock, and done same to the party as a whole. He's a wild card they can't control. Mike Pence on the other hand is a party patsy, a totally predictable puppet, who completely buys the bullshit. An impeached Trump is an old school, establishment GOP, wet dream.

He was never a Republican anyway.

He really fits best in the Reform Party - a party platform that I suspect he never abandoned.

To me it looks likeTrump is going out of his way to stock his cabinet with the worst possible choices. Maybe this is his big "fuck you" to Washington since revenge is m.o. He clearly has little interest in how things in government actually work as he is currently focused on expanding his business empire and wealth.

I know everyone always has a excess of cash right after the holidays ( ), but if you're inclined to give to the National Park Foundation, today is an excellent day to do so.
