HI, ...I would like to buy a pair of knee pads (fox racing) at a store near Boulder, I find it odd that most bike shops don't have them....anyone know of a local place that sells knee pads?

Full TIlt Cyclery in Castle ROck does. I know it's a bit of a drive, but just think of it like a fun field trip.
Oh, and oops, Rhthem Cycles/The Fix does...
Not to knock the LBS, but (since they're not carrying them), I got my 911s at REI. Don't know if there's one around Boulder though. Any LBS should be able to order 'em for you.
Don't understand how a LBS isn't carrying Fox pads. Fox and 661 are pretty much standard equipment anywhere. Wish more shops carried Roach, er, RaceFace, er whatever they're called now.

the fix carries roach/raceface stuff. they have a few troy lee knee/shin dealies in too.
the denver spoke should have a bunch of fox pads in stock... i think they probably still have some of the ones they had when i worked there.

you could always get some at a skate shop, thats where i got my protec ones
