Seems like this should be easy but I can't seem to figure it out.

How do I add page numbers that are 1 of 5, 2 of 5 etc?

View/Header and Footer. There is a toolbar that will pop up.

There is a default AutoText of Page X of Y, or you can do it manually - the button with one # sign on it is current page, the button with two + signs on it is total pages.

I asked the office assistant, Mr. Paperclip guy, how to set the margins. He answered with "The margins are the white space at the edge of the page."

I then typed "Kill Paperclip guy." He blinked and replied "Would you like to choose a new Office Assistant?"

I miss Wordperfect. :disgust:

Office assistant is one of those really neat features that would have been useful in 1988 when the majority had never used a PC, 20 years later it's pretty useless.

F1 to bring up help and searching the index for page number would have been my first attempt, the help files are known to be insufficent or incorrect but for the most part they give you enough information to figure it out.
