The HP has some interesting (entertaining?) op-eds, but namely is wasted interweb space so far as I'm concerned.
As for her attempting to make a run as 2012, I doubt a majority of the population will support her anti-intelligence, -progress, and -research belief system. Which would best serve the country and its people, an everyman or someone who understands the everyman?
Stevens can run for reelection, but has to resign if he wins. Palin can appoint herself to the vacant seat, then run as the incumbent Senator in the special. Now she is a Governor AND a Senator. Talk about some serious experience.
