The "answer" to the "If she runs for president" question is perhaps the best example:

Interviewer: "If [you] run for president, what might [you] do differently [than the current administration]?"

Palin: "I would continue on the same course of not really caring what other people say about me or worrying about the things that they make up, but having that thick skin and a steel spine, knowing that what is needed in America are those things that Ronald Reagan did espouse and what he lived and not worrying about what the critics are going to say about me or my family or what it is that I stand for because I do believe, David, that there are more commonsense conservative Americans on our side on the issues that we stand for than there are those who oppose the idea of individualism and God given liberty and opportunity to work hard and to progress according to our own work ethic and our own merits. I would continue to believe that there are more who are believers in those values than there are not, so I would continue down that same path."
I'd laugh except that I know there are millions of American flag-t-shirt wearing Bible belt white people that nodded appreciatively when they heard or read Palin's wordscramble, and then proceeded to write an overtly or not-so-overtly racist supportive comment on her Facebook page.

We're doomed.

Sometimes I think I'm exaggerating when I rail on how stupid Americans are. And then something like this comes up, and I realize I'm actually understating the problem to a large degree.

I’m reminded so often of 2 Timothy 1:7 knowing that God does not give us a spirit of timidity or of fear, but he gives us a spirit of power and love and a sound mind.
How can people be fooled by this sh1t? Someone made her memorize a verse before her interview with the christians.

I like her comments about Egypt.

I would never think someone who was this close to White House would not know where Egypt was.

Hey that's two sentences!

She's gettin' better she is!
I think the transcriber inserted those periods out of pity :disgust1:

Actually, reading it transcribed gives a lot more coherence to the answer than actually hearing her say it.

Classic...

I want the mainstream media, and I’ve said this for a couple of years now, I want to help ‘em. I have a journalism degree, that is what I studied.

Teach them to like, use words and stuff...

Is it going to be the Muslim Brotherhood? We should not stand for that, or with that or by that. Any radical Islamists...

But a government of radical Christians would be more better.

As always, some of the comments are priceless...

Totally not worth the time but lets disect, breaking down into individual thoughts... Reading this all as a continuous thought makes my head hurt. ;)

Palin: "I would continue on the same course of not really caring what other people say about me or worrying about the things that they make up.

Palin: (I will stay on the course of) having that thick skin and a steel spine,

Palin: (I will stay on the course of) knowing that what is needed in America are those things that Ronald Reagan did espouse and what he lived.

Palin: (I will stay on the course of) not worrying about what the critics are going to say about me or my family or what it is that I stand for

Palin: I do believe, David, that there are more commonsense conservative Americans on our side on the issues that we stand for than there are those (commonsense conservative Americans) who oppose the idea of individualism.

Ok.... Now that I can see what she is actually trying to say, I would summarize it as follows:

I'm going to take the same path that failed to get me (and McCain) elected a few years ago. I'm still going to make incendiary comments, I still do not have a filter between my brain and mouth, and I'm still living in a utopian world where everything can be painted as either black or white.

She should hire you as her publicist. The above section almost makes her seem like a normal "Social Conservative". But if she wasn't batsh!t crazy then we wouldn't get to make fun of her... :weee:

Riding past the morgue.
How many Muslim supporters does she have? Or Jewish?

(Sarah loves herself some Jews though. She needs them to be part of an armageddon in Israel that will bring Jesus back to us. Seriously.)
Oh, not many I'm sure. You seem to imply however that someone who believes in a slightly different version of the imaginary eye in the sky might be slightly less . I don't think that's true, that's all I'm saying.

Oh no, that's not what I meant at all. That's why I lump Scientologists and Mormons in with Christians. Well, and because doing that drives Jesus bots totally nuts, to be honest...

Actually, Wernicke's is more appropriate, if you want to get all technical. Broca's sufferers don't say much while Wernicke's produce word salad. :D
Ah, it's been a while. I was going for the agrammatism, but I suppose word salad works too.

Seriously.......

Is it going to be the Muslim Brotherhood? We should not stand for that, or with that or by that. Any radical Islamists, no that is not who we should be supporting and standing by.
Calling the Muslim Brotherhood "radical" is like lumping me and Timothy McVeih together..........wow, a little homework on that would go a long way.
